On July 16, 2005, the Utah Department of Transportation released the new requirements for the Utah Pilot/Escort Driver Certification Program.

If you hold a Utah DOT Pilot/Escort Driver Certification issued prior to July 1, 2005, Re-Certification through the mail is not available, see UDOT Rule R912-9. This is due to new training requirements.

R912-9 was amended on July 24, 2007 - see information below or at www.utahmc.com

May 1, 2009 - Nevada Amber Light Permit Process
The process to obtain an Amber Light Permit is changing. Please click to view letter that we received from Nevada Highway Patrol

The following locations are being considered for a class. If you are interested in attending one of these locations, please click on this area, complete the form, then fax to our office letting us know which class you would like to attend. When a class has been scheduled, we will let you know. These are the locations that we are considering:

Portland, Oregon
Chicago, Illiniois

If you do not see a class location that is close to you and if you have at least 20 people, we can bring this class to your location and provide this training for your group or company. Coming Soon! - Renewals/Recertification - May 22, 2009

If you hold a Utah DOT Pilot/Escort Driver Certification issued after June 30, 2005, you are afforded the option of renewing your certifcation for (1) additional 4 year term if you renew your certification prior to expiration. This link goes to the "Renewal Page" and will be available when it has been approved by UDOT.
